Our Philosophy

Right now, more than ever, personalized attention matters. Seniors need a place that keeps them safe and adheres to all life-safety codes. Our home does that and more. We enrich the lives of independent seniors by giving the right balance of physical and emotional care so that they live their life to the fullest.

Cared by Sisters (CBS) is a residence that offers home care services to seniors. We provide a place to live that is comfortable, private, and contains all of what they may need in an everyday living setting. We also offer balanced meals and places to relax/interact and be cared for and feel part of a family. All this in an exceptionally clean and sanitized space.

For those seniors who feel like they are a “burden” and who are looking for a way to live independently but with the reassurance and safety of still being cared for, CBS provides them with the personalized physical and emotional care they need so that they feel reenergized, alive, and empowered.

This is because only CBS makes them feel like family in an environment that nurtures, connects them to a community of like-minded seniors who thrive, and offers a staff committed to an exceptional level of care.

Martha

The Generous Spirit

The oldest of the three — Martha has been the role model and spiritual leader for all of us sisters! Her generosity, collaboration, and helping-heart attitude have made Martha the favorite “aunt, sister, friend, and niece” for others. She is always calm in every situation, keeping that unwavering resolve that things will be okay. She cared for her parents all her life and has been a great contributor to her dad’s 95+ year-old well-lived life.

Aside from her 25+ career in business, she was always really in the “care business,” helping the other sister, Zoily, in her day-care business, and taking daily care of her mother and other family seniors. It was that rewarding experience that motivated her to dedicate this phase of her life to CBS, exploiting that love and compassion for others she is so good at.

Marisol

The Optimistic Explorer

The middle sister — her global-minded attitude and optimistic outlook in life allowed her to explore the world with her husband and daughter.

She has a background in business and marketing with a career of 25+ years at large companies. What helped her succeed in these companies was her approach and outlook to “care for others” with her teams. She had a successful career not only for her business audacity but for her commitment to people, their development, engagement, and their well-being; traits that she will incorporate with the seniors she cares for.

Zoily

The Fearless Perseverant

The youngest of the three sisters — it’s how she learned perseverance and determination. She’s a devoted mother of four, a true friend, and a wonderful sister who will never put herself first.

Zoily graduated as a Montessori teacher and opened up a daycare in the early 1990s. The business was successful for 12 years after which she closed it to dedicate herself to her own family. Recently as a CNA, she worked in senior care facilities and had the opportunity to learn what they were missing. This was the motivation for her to open CBS, to deliver a holistic and rewarding experience for what seniors deserve.
